Dear Artists,

In light of the most recent State Mandate and increased public safety concerns over the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) , we are temporarily closing our studio - Chez Bushwick. While we are sad to have to close our doors, we deeply value the health and well-being of our community.  Our staff will continue working off-site. Should you have any questions or need to get in touch, please don’t hesitate to reach out and send us an email! The studio manager can be reached at: studio@jonahbokaer.net

If you have the resources, please consider making a donation to our non-profit so that we can continue to support our staff, our artists, our facilities, and our community during this time. Jonah Bokaer Arts Foundation remains dedicated and devoted to supporting you - whether it’s serving as a launchpad for creative endeavors, or whether it’s continuing to provide an affordable workspace once these mandates are lifted.  https://www.chezbushwick.net/support

Thank you for your support. We cannot wait to reopen our doors and very much look forward to creating with you in the future!

We wish you health and wellness during this time.

Supportively,

Chez Bushwick

Health Precautions

The Hudson Eye looks forward to welcoming you  to a safe, spacious Festival with innovations in Venue Safety, and a largely Outdoor Format in 2020.

The health and the safety of our community are important to us. Our organization has taken the following measures to ensure the safest experience possible.

General:
• We ask that you refrain from attending if you have exhibited any symptoms or high fever within 48 hours of a ticketed event. If your plans to attend change, please let staff know at your earliest convenience, contact@jonahbokaer.net  or +1.917.459.1072.

• Many States including New York State are actively managing their travel advisory, as mandated by Governor Cuomo. Please review the advisory carefully, especially if you have any travel planned anytime before August 28. In honoring any state-mandated self-quarantine periods, please let us know if this information changes your plans to attend any of our events.

• Hand sanitizer can be made available to each guest.

• A no-touch waste management protocol will be in effect.

• Signage will be placed in highly-visible locations to indicate sanitary mandates.

Social Distancing:
We ask that all guests observe six feet of  distance outside of your immediate group.

Masks:
• Masks or cloth face coverings are respectfully required for  all attendees at all times when not drinking;

• The organization does not serve food or beverage.

Restrooms:
• The restroom will be actively monitored for an adequate supply of hand soap and other necessary products.

Staff Protocols:
• All Staff/Volunteers will be masked, and those handling items  for guest distribution will be wearing disposable gloves  during events;

• Staff/Volunteers will participate in mandatory temperature taking/symptom checking prior to events;

• Staff/Volunteers will be required to frequently wash their hands with soap;

• Training on all safety precautions will take place prior to events.

Seating:
• If there are seating environments, they will have been spaced accordingly for state social distancing guidelines.

Queuing:
• Should any lines or queues develop, visible markings will indicate six-feet separations.

Thank you for taking the time to review these items. Our appreciation is boundless for this community that has defied the odds to make an extraordinary program come to life.

Yours With Gratitude,

The Hudson Eye and the Jonah Bokaer Arts Foundation families
