RSVP
In 2004 I created a solo using DanceForms 1.0 the choreographic software, which was premiered at Dance Theatre Workshop. The piece was titled "RSVP," and was designed as a study in collapsing joints. Additionally, I planted twelve cellular phones throughout the audience of the theatre, which a musician periodically called from backstage, producing a random cacophony of electronic rings, beeps, downloaded tunes, and other noises. This sequence then determined the order of my movements, creating an indeterminate composition.
