After performances such as Exhausted Rauschenberg #124/2.4, The Delco Head, The Azincourt Battle or I go to the mass with the OAS, The United Patriotic Squadrons of Blessed Diana (UPSBD) present YVES MOUROUSI.

In The words of the artists:

Yves Mourousi is a french journalist born in July 1942. His mother was a russian princess : the princess Mourousi. She had sex with germans during the war. He died in April 1998 because of an Aids Cancer.
He’s the first to present the TV news live from the Red Place (USSR), and he will then go to Poland in 1977 and in China in 1979. That’s how, through the four corners of the world, he invented his famous « bonjour! ».

But information is not especially spectacular when it’s located far into the world, that’s why he will present some of his TV news in unusual places such as an hospital where the spectators could follow live a heart operation. He also did live shows from a nuclear station, a plunged submarine, or an aircraft carrier of the french Navy.

He created Entertaining Information.

Artists Bio :

The UPSBD is a performance group by Jonathan Drillet & Marlène Saldana, both actors.
The UPSBD proposed their first public performance at the end of February 2008, in the gardens of the Ritz Hotel, in Paris, invited by « Il faut brûler pour briller ». Other performances followed: at the cabaret Chez Moune, in Pigalle (The Delco Head), in the Arenae of Lutèce (Exhausted Rauschenberg), in the city of La Duchère in Lyon (La Bataille d'Azincourt), at the Elysées Biarritz Club in Paris (Les Entretiens de Valois) and al recetly hosted Open Mic evening at the Politics of Ecstasy Festival at the HAU in Berlin (De Walkyries en Wagnériennes, Deutchland We're coming). The work of the UPSBD consists in speaking political speeches and texts, by hijacking their function and their system of statement. The UPSBD are made up, they drink some champagne, and discuss: their performances are long uninterrupted conversations, made of speeches, interviews, and songs of the French and international popular French Republican culture. They also dance, have guests, and they sometimes even sing. The work of the UPSBD also feeds on exploration experiences of the "dark side of the force ". In the heart of darkness, the UPSBD investigate power, money, and religion, in places like Neuilly Sur Seine, at the St Nicolas du Chardonnet Church, or in the bars of luxurious hotels. The UPSBD are always accompanied by a Dalmatian dog, Bilal Ouriaghli, and sometimes, by Madonna, a.k.a Jonathan Capdevielle.
